Function Note:

Position Summary

The Resort Service Attendant will be responsible for providing efficient service assistance to various departments during peak needs periods.  

 

Duties & Responsibilities

Within the Recreation Department:

*Assisting guests with equipment; instruction, fitting, rentals and returns

*Maintaining organization of supplies, stock and cleanliness of recreation areas; this includes but not limited to waterfront, pools, fitness room, change rooms, climbing wall, storage rooms and general store

*Towel delivery and pick up for pools and waterfront

 

Within the Rooms Department:

*Assisting with guest room cleaning; this includes but not limited to making beds, vacuuming, removing garbage, recycling and linens

*Maintaining organization of supplies, stock and cleanliness in storage closets, back spaces and public spaces

*Respond to guest calls from housekeeping office, delivery of supplies to colleagues and guests as requested

 

Within the Food and Beverage Department:

*Assisting guests and servers in the restaurants with hosting, bussing and food service

*Ensures tables are cleared and set as required, presentable with clean china, glassware, silverware and linen

*Assist food and beverage team with restaurant or group set ups and clean up

*Assist with conference meeting set-ups and room services, along with event execution

*Maintaining organization of supplies, stock and cleanliness in storage closets, back spaces and public spaces

Education & Experience

Smart Serve certificate is an asset

High school diploma is an asset

Experience in customer service is an asset
