Due to market expansion Miles Employment Group has an opportunity for an additional Business Development Executive to join their growing team!

Based out of our Gastown location we are seeking a sales professional with creative energy, and the motivation to succeed to join our team.

Required Responsibilities;

  • Cold calling and building business on a daily basis
  • Telemarketing to generate leads and book appointments
  • Effective time management of schedule
  • Booking, attending sales appointments and trade show conventions
  • Closing and securing new business from new customers
  • Opening new accounts
  • Attending business functions to promote the company
  • Meeting targets defined by management
  • Sell using consultative selling techniques
  • Marketing to prospective clients through correspondence, brochures and web applications
  • Participate in creating awareness campaigns
  • Record sales tracking information in company database
  • Record sales tracking forms for management in a timely manner
  • Daily and weekly sales reports to be delivered to senior management in expected time frame
  • Identifying client staffing needs and recruiting qualified candidates

Seeking Individuals with the Following Experience;   

  • A minimum of 3 years of working experience, with a focus on B2B sales
    with proven ability to demonstrate skills in cold calling along with customer care and client care
  • Excellent presentation and marketing skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Outstanding phone manner
  • Strong data entry and database management computer skills
  • Staffing industry experience preferred, but not mandatory

The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the sales cycle, with the willingness to work directly with the sales leadership and greater team, towards business and personal goals and objectives.

We are looking for self-starting individuals, with a sense of urgency, who thrives in a fast paced environment, and demonstrates a great attention to detail.
