Workers’ Compensation Attorney Location: Asheville | Burlington | Durham | Charlotte | Fayetteville | Greensboro | Greenville | Raleigh | Wilmington, NC | Myrtle Beach, SC Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 (negotiable DOE) Employment Type: Full-Time Overview: Our client, a North Carolina-based law firm is actively seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience handling North Carolina workers' compensation cases and a strong understanding of the NC Industrial Commission procedures. This role offers the flexibility to be based out of any of our office locations listed above.

Job Function:
- Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from intake through resolution.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and before the NC Industrial Commission.
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients.
- Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and effective case progression.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and medical providers.
- Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation law and apply them to cases effectively.

Job Requirement:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in North Carolina
- Minimum of 2–3 years of recent and relevant experience handling NC workers' compensation cases.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and accuracy.
- Strong negotiation, litigation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Must be able to provide three professional references from prior work experience.
- Licensure in South Carolina is a plus, but not required
