Salary: $90,000 – $150,000 (negotiable DOE)

Overview:

Our client, a North Carolina-based law firm is actively seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on experience handling North Carolina workers' compensation cases and a strong understanding of the NC Industrial Commission procedures. This role offers the flexibility to be based out of any of our office locations listed above.


Job Function:


  • Manage a caseload of workers’ compensation claims from intake through resolution.
  • Represent clients in hearings, mediations, depositions, and before the NC Industrial Commission.
  • Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide legal advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to ensure timely and effective case progression.
  • Maintain clear and professional communication with clients, opposing counsel, and medical providers.
  • Stay updated on changes in workers' compensation law and apply them to cases effectively.
Job Requirement:


  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing to practice law in North Carolina
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of recent and relevant experience handling NC workers' compensation cases.
  • Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and accuracy.
  • Strong negotiation, litigation, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Must be able to provide three professional references from prior work experience.
  • Licensure in South Carolina is a plus, but not required
