Pay: $85,000 - $105,000 + Benefits

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina


Our client - a multidisciplinary design firm, seeks a Project Manager within the Civil Engineering profession to join our fast-growing company. You will support a well established, and growing, land development and site design practice by providing project management involving site analysis, due diligence, land planning, site plan and construction document production, presentations, and more.


The position will provide exposure to a range of projects that will speed up professional development because of our varied array of services we provide to both the public and private sectors. An eager, talented person can join a group of outstanding specialists and use the most recent technology to provide solutions to our clients' most difficult development projects thanks to this fantastic employment opportunity.

Job Function:

Key duties include, but are not limited to:


* Finding out what the client wants to achieve.

* Agreeing the timescales, costs and resources needed.

* Drawing up a detailed plan for how to achieve each stage of the project.

* Negotiating with contractors and suppliers for materials and services.

* Making sure that each stage of the project is progressing on time and on budget.

* Reporting regularly on progress to the client or to senior managers.



Job Requirement:

* BS Degree in Civil Engineering and North Carolina registered PE or immediate ability to obtain.

* Minimum 5+ years of design experience with progressive responsibility and desire to move into project management role.

* Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D.

* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Outlook.

* Experience in Stormwater Management.

* Ability to control costs within own work.

* Ability to develop plans for short-term work activities.

* Proven Design Skills, Site Development, Planning, Conceptual Skills and Problem Solving.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
