Brief Description:

Skyline Personnel is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support international purchasing and packaging operations for a local manufacturer. Prior experience with international shipping is helpful but not required - we are happy to train the right candidate. This in-office role offers $20.00/hour for 20-25 hours per week, Monday-Friday, with some scheduling flexibility.

Job Function:

• This position requires Interfacing with our International teams on a daily/ weekly basis.

• Communication to customers verbally and written to provide updates on progress of their orders.

• This person must be a team player and have a willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done accurately, timely, and efficiently.

• The Position is Part Time for potential Full Time. Hours are Monday- Friday Flexible 20-25 hours rate is $20.00 hour.

• The Position is in Office, no remote available.


Job Duties:

• Entering purchase order into Sap Programs.

• Follow up with International Factories on Bulk Production "In Progress" reports for customers orders.

• Monitoring shipping and delivery of purchases.

• Checking items meet specifications.

• Overseeing the speed of production.

• Communicating with Quality Assurance on product quality.

• Vendor Management Inventory Tracking Programs

Job Requirement:

• This position requires an educated, business-minded, detailed individual. A person that is goal-oriented, organized, confident, and willing to learn.

• Experience in International Shipping of Containers with Ocean Vessel Carriers is a plus.

• Knowledgeable and full understanding of Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
