Job Title: Part-Time Specialized Shuttle Driver / Companion

Location: Wake County, NC (with specific routes in Knightdale, Zebulon, Wendell, the Durham/Cary border, and Selma)

Commitment: Part-time (10–15 hours per week)

Pay Rate: $10–$15 depending on experience

Position Overview

We provide more than just a ride - we provide an experience. We are seeking a deeply compassionate, patient, and engaging Specialized Shuttle Driver to transport our riders, who are primarily children or adults with special needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect & Engage: Provide a warm, personalized ride experience using conversation, music, and an understanding of each rider's unique needs.
  • Safe Transportation: Securely transport riders across designated areas, prioritizing safety and punctuality above all else.
  • Digital Logging: Use a mobile app to clock in/out, log vehicle inspections, and track mileage. (Note: Only on-the-clock driving and in-between passenger miles are covered; commuter miles are excluded).
  • Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the vehicle meets all state safety requirements, remains completely smoke-free, and stays clean and presentable.



















Job Requirement:

  • Core Traits: High emotional intelligence, deep empathy, and a natural ability to connect with individuals with autism.
  • Driving Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Background Check: Must pass a comprehensive background check
  • Availability: Flexibility to handle specific regional pockets within Wake County.
  • Strict Policy: Absolute no smoking policy inside or around the vehicle.
